Soonapse has been selected for Ploovium® as a “solution provider” by the European InnoWise Scale – Water Scarcity in Southern Europe program organized by EIT Food in collaboration with Bioazul and REVOLVE.
InnoWise Scale supports innovators working on disruptive products or services that enable better water management, optimize water supply and demand, and help prepare the European economy for climate change.
InnoWise Scale activities were modeled around 3 case studies on water management in agriculture, infrastructure and water services, connecting problem owners with solution providers. The ultimate goal of the InnoWise Scale activities is to accelerate the market uptake of these green solutions in Europe.
The InnoWise Scale competitions are the final step after 3 months of mentoring, training and networking opportunities between problem owners and solution providers.
For the agricultural sector, the InnoWise Scale competition will address the problem of water scarcity by bringing together eight solution providers from across Europe – including Soonapse – who will compete to be selected to test their solutions with SanLucar Company – the problem owner (the need to optimize water use due to its scarcity).
The event will take place online on October 4 at 9 a.m. CEST bringing together problem owner companies with solution providers to develop solutions to better manage water resources in the industry.
The session will also feature high-level speakers such as Luciano Mateos – Gaetane Suzenet – María Echávarri Toda – David Smith – Andrew Walker and support from expert juries Francesco Fatone – Andreas Chrysanthou – Mª Teresa Carrillo Cobo.
